It's wild how you don't understand games sometimes go years without updates. If the director has nothing to share or isn't ready to that's extremely common in the gaming industry. I mean, we're kinda still in a pandemic, many game devs have expressed that Covid has stalled development for their games. The ones working on Digimon Survive was one of them. Hell, even Nintendo wasn't immune, they announced the BotW sequel all the back in 2019 and we only got a follow up trailer this past summer because of covid. And you know that Nintendo has their A-Team working on it, especially after the success of BotW. They even admitted last fall that covid mucked things up for them when they announced Age of Calamity to try to keep the hypetrain going.
