I dont care what you say about the movie, but this is honestly the most perfect Spider-man fight IMO. Even better in 4K 60fps

Both Harry and Parker as fighters are agile and high-flying, which allows for some of the best building zipping battle I've come across. It's the most quintessential Spidey fight

All other Spidey villians in other movies are either too slow (eg. Doc Oct), or too big (Lizard, Sandman) or too stationary (Electro). Harry's fight is what Spider-man 1's Goblin fight could have been with better budget CGI in modern times.

I'm glad people are coming around to SM3 nowadays. Even if half of it is for memes. I've always really liked the movie.

Like the pie, it's so good.

Another impressive thing is how the fight scene alone conveys multiple story points as well.

1. You have Harry attacking Peter outta nowhere and Peter getting his ass whooped.
2. Then Peter finds out it's Harry and tries to hold back.
3. Peter then loses his ring and this ups the stakes since Peter has to battle Harry while trying to get back the falling ring. It's nuts.
4. Then whole scene shifts into an alleyway. We also see Harry finally start to resort to using his new weaponry.

The whole battle keeps shifting in both opponents' favour back and forth and I love it.
But the ending defeat is what makes the movie to me where Peter blindsides Harry with that web. It's always a cool hallmark I loved about Raimi films because the defeats of villains are always so unpredictable. Goblin gets defeated by himself. Doctor Oct also defeats himself, funnily. Meanwhile Harry and Sandman gets 'rehabilitated'.
In comparison to Watt's Spider-man and Webb's Spider-man where it's basically just Spider-man always beating his villain s****tless.

Same, man. I dont understand the hate. I get it, Venom wasnt done justice. But who cares.

Action rocked. Spiderman trying to take on 3 villains by himself was a feast to watch. The emo bully Maguire, while lame, was a new refreshing take on Parker. I remember being pretty disturbed as a kid watching my idol superhero suddenly turned to a 'villain' like that. It's not something any superhero movie dares to do nowadays sadly.

I preferred that to the comics' webshooters. It's more truer to a spider since spiders make their own web anyway

Yeah, Spider-Man 3 had some good things going for it, it just wasn't as good as it could've been due to executive meddling.
