• Need to re-find the person that chances my look. Can't remember where I found them
• What are the other currency in this game? I think it's the one to upgrade the Shards. I was going to upgrade my Wolf Summon, but I had to have 6 of them, and I only had 4. How do I get those?
• Doesn't the Fairy find breakable walls for you? I don't think it has, I think I just found them myself

so what's new in the game since like release? i got the platinum right after it came out and haven't played it again yet. i know they added in a boss rush mode and lets you play through the game as the guy. but they must have added more since then right?

There's no singular currency, upgrading a shard is essentially the same as any other alchemy recipe. Different ones require different materials. They're usually dropped by the same enemy that drops the shard, but higher levels require that monster's rarer drop and/or a drop from a more difficult pallet swap.

Bump, still not sure if I should get this game. I enjoyed playing symphony of the night, but I only liked it because it was a good game, not because I necessarily like that gameplay style.

Well as someone who has played both relatively recently and has no nostalgia towards Symphony I believe Bloodstained RoTN is better in practically every way

I tried it before and it seemed cool, but I suck at these kinda games and kept getting my ass kicked by one of the early bosses, so I stopped playing.

I just need to grind a lot more I guess.

Was it the guy who keeps jumping up with the sword and coming down with ridiculous range? I was just playing it the other week and that dude was kicking my ass. He has so much health. To make matters worse, I went all the way back to the store, bought 10 potions, came all the way back and they had just vanished out my inventory while all the money I used was still gone. I can't see what it would of been aside from a glitch.

I remember playing up until a boss that was voiced by Snake (MGS)

Oh, shit, sorry, I had things out of order. I forgot you go to the Tower of Twin Dragons just for a bit before you get the item you need to really explore it. You're missing an area in Livre Ex Machina. I don't remember enough about the game to tell you how to get there even when looking at a guide, but the area you've circled as inaccessible is actually accessible.

Yeah, I assume I need double jump or something like that. But I dont know where to go to get it.

I think he's the first boss. He's a bit of a difficulty spike for sure.
