He got his powers and then he was scared so he ran to Times Square for some reason. When he saw himself on the Jumbotron he was excited because people were noticing him for the first time. But then Spider-man arrived and the cameras all focused on him instead of Electro. Even worse, Spidey was trying to talk him down but the cops shot at Electro. So he get like spider-man lied to him about thinking he was important. Thats why he was hellbent on getting revenge. IE peter refuses to give harry his blood to help cure "the osborn curse" even tho he has no reason not to. he even swings by his house to tell him he won't help him, even tho ignoring him would have made more sense He refused to give Harry his blood because peter saw the message left by his father and realized that since his dad encoded his own DNA in the spiders it would have an adverse effect on Harry if he tried to use it. Meeting up with Harry to tell him that he wouldn't help him was stupid, but he said something along the lines of "I can't give it to you YET".
