The value of (non Nintendo) video games drops so fast you really only have yourself to blame if you're paying full price. Also a lot of games released nowadays aren't even fully optimized or bug-free on release anyway. So people who wait a few months to buy the game are often getting a better product for less money. That being said there are plenty of games I'm willing to buy for full price if I'm not feeling patient. It's the same concept to me as paying extra to see a movie in theaters VS renting or streaming it later. --- skull ... Copied to Clipboard!

There used to be a website that showed what games had had their copy protection broken but I think it's gone now. Still, I can't remember many DRM lasting forever unless the game itself went unnoticed due to lack of popularity. Mind you, pirates will crack any cheap, low-quality game.
