Like literally every other time the right tries to deify a Reagan, it fell apart completely under the slightest scrutiny.

TC, did you know that the Reagans used to make jokes about the people dying to AIDS, in the 80s? As a kid in rhe 80s I didn't really understand most of what was going on or what AIDS was. As an adult I learned about how our leaders reacted to the AIDS issue, and it horrifies me. Both Ronald and Nancy were horrible people

Whats more concerning for me is the sports team politics aspect of the whole story.

The president made AIDS jokes but she never did. She was connected with a lot of LGBT friends during that time and she and her son pushed him to fight the AIDS epidemic. He just was too deep in with his advisors.

I'm not a fan of Nancy and especially not her husband. But I will shoot her some bail on not being a homophobic piece of shit like her husband.
