I want to play it, but I have no one to play it with.

Nope. I remember seeing a trailer for it some time back, thought it looked interesting, then forgot about it.

I didn't, but I've been watching the Game Grumps playthrough of it, which is a pretty accurate simulation of what would happen if I played it with my brother.

I've thought of trying it with my girlfriend, but she gets tired of most games pretty quickly and I doubt we would finish it.

plus it's something that I'd rather play with someone that I know than randos online.

Been planning on it for a few months now. Played A Way Out with a friend first with plans of following it up with It Takes Two. Hopefully we'll get to play it this month.

I actually did play it

it's a pretty cool game, and has a lot of very interesting and varied environments and gameplay gimmicks. it also has some pretty goo co-op banter and batlte minigames and stuff, it's just generally a very chill game to play and I think you'll probably be entertained & impressed unless you're co-oping it with someone you absolutely hate.

I'd be hesitant to call it goty though for some of these same reasons. it jumps around between so many different mechanics and styles of gameplay that it never really explores any of them in-depth or really makes you learn to use them at full potential. most actions have a pretty large snap-to / buffer range and as a result the game feels very brain-off, with action segments you barely need to pay attention to and puzzles that you will solve in 1 second by just looking at the screen and instantly knowing the answer.

it's still a very nice experience to just play through and wander around in, though

Nope, I haven't played it. It seems like it would be fun to play with your significant other, though. So hopefully, my next girlfriend is also into video games, then I'll get around to playing It Takes Two

I actually played it with my wife and we both loved it. It's not the deepest Coop game you're going to play, but there's just so much crap you can do in the game that made it really fun.

i played like 90% of it on the friend pass thing, and it might be one of the best co-op games ever, just by virtue of how everything works. that being said, it's obviously kind of a nothing burger if you play games alone
