If the latter there should be a waiting period before you can go through with it. Also I wouldnt allow anyone with children etc to do it. Anyone against euthanasia has no idea what it's like. Before finding my soulmate, i would have done anything for legal euthanasia. Sometimes i wish no one cared so i could let the growths spread. She was eventually so rigid that she could not move any part of her body. Her arms and legs twisted at unnatural angles, he fingers and toes curled up like claws. She could not speak coherently. The worst part though was that she entirely there mentally. Which means she was trapped in her body. Entirely reliant on other people for everything. Feeding her, bathing her, taking her to the bathroom and cleaning her up afterwards, she couldn't even change the channel on the TV that she was stuck day in and day out watching. She was ready to die but her body kept her alive. She deserved to be able to choose to die, but was not allowed to. I watched my father be eaten alive by two different kinds of cancer. He died gasping for air in a hospital bed. I made plans for my own way out if my cancer hadn't responded to treatment.
