Swedish PM Magdalena Andersson, her Minister of Health Lena Hallengren and her Minister of Finance Mikael Damberg just held a press conference where they introduced some new/re-introduced restrictions and monetary compensations to combat covid. We have one of the lowest number of people in the ICU and covid deaths in Europe right now but the number of infected is going up.

* Employers shall make it possible to work from home (for the professions that can).

* Universities shall avoid large gatherings.

* Keep your distance to each other in public areas.

* Places which serve food and drinks shall avoid crowding.

* Face masks shall be used on public transport.

* Removed doctors note for carrier-of-infectious-disease-money.

* Risk group compensation (to stay home from work).

* Temporary parental money if your kids school close.

* Removed penalty for 1st sick day.

If you have certain infectious diseases or a member of your household does, you have to stay home in quarantine and that makes you eligible for smittbrarpenning (carrier-of-infectious-disease-money). To compensate for lost work hours.

Nothing about vaccination?

Magda talked about the importance of everyone who can and havent gotten vaccinated yet shall do so.

If the spread gets larger, more businesses can get be obligated to only let in vaccinated folk than the current measure. Aka expand the use of the vaccinbevis.
