I think one low-tier president for a few hundred years in one country is acceptable if it means we can push back countless deaths due to old age for all of humanity. Although I'm a bit worried about all the members of congress hanging around longer...

As long as the aging process is evenly distributed. So being 100 is the equivalent to like 25.

This seems like it could cause issues with long infancy, childhood etc. at a mismatch with mental development.

It would work like aging of Numenoreans in Tolkien's work. They age normally until about age 25 or so, and then age very very slowly from then on.

I don't think I'd want to live 300 years regardless of who is President. Maybe if I won the lottery and got to spend all that time chasing my passions, sure, but an extra 300 years of work? Nah.

I'd have to think if I wanted to live to 300 in the first place, much less push that on everybody else, much less give any one guy that much power, much less that specific one guy.

Also, I think it unlikely that Trump would accept a position as prime minister in a parliamentary system. I don't think he would accept anything lower than a head of state position. Remember when he visited the UK he had little interest in meeting Theresa May but was very excited about seeing the Queen.
