I dont ask this to be argumentative or in bad faith or any of that, but what do you do about security, then?

I believe investing more in communities (and enacting uplifting economic policies) will dramatically reduce crime, but what do we do about it in the meantime?

And what about the remaining violent crime that occurs not for economic reasons, but for personal reasons (like spousal abuse, rape, homicide over personal disputes, etc.)?

In case you hadnt noticed, all of those problems occur in large volume despite the record-breaking militarism of the US police state. If you want to reduce crime, reduce poverty. Anything outside of that is a placebo.

I think itll work, but then there are crimes that the cops wont be able to stop in the moment just like now. What about those?!?

such a weird statement. Rape, Homicide and Abuse is rarely ever stopped as its happening by cops. You call them after and they come through and make a lazy report about it.

Thats how Sweden fixed its problem with late trains some years ago, they changed the definition of late from some minutes to 15-20 minutes, and suddenly we got no late trains.
