Kirby shields himself with pointy spikes, hurting any enemy that dare comes near him. It is an ability that appears on and off. It can go years without an appearance, suddenly make a comeback with no explanation, and nobody is surprised about it. Case in point; its last appearance WAS in Triple Deluxe, but is now one of the five copy abilities confirmed to return in Forgotten Land. It is also one of the nine copy abilities found in the Dark Matter trilogy, and one of four abilities that can be used in Kirbys Block Ball. Notably, in that game, if Kirby used the Needle ability close to a paddle, Kirby would stick to it, and could be relaunched. This was incredibly useful and allowed for easy navigation around the course. (Im sad to see Needle go so soon. As I mentioned previously, it is of great value in Block Ball. I definitely think its the best ability in that game! We are now left with 50 copy abilities. If your favorite has made it this far, then congratulations! But it is nowhere near over.
