I could give more. So it not just like one crazy person with 5 likes. And this goes to the heart of the issue with Hillary and many of her supporters . She is seen as someone who can't do any thing wrong. If it not Sarandon , it is Bernie , if it not Bernie is those horrible Bros who owed her a vote but didn't vote for her. They just can't say Hillary could not pull in the win.

Yeah Clinton lost because of Clinton.
The same way Sanders lost because of Sanders.
Cue the progressives tying themselves into knots to not come across as hypocrites when they take issue with my second sentence.

Clinton lost because she ran an unsuccessful campaign.
Sanders lost because he ran an unsuccessful campaign.
Those are facts.
They are both ultimately to blame for their own defeats.
It really is that simple.
You of course can accept that for Clinton's defeat but will reject it for Sander's defeat.
Ask yourself why that is.

Well, if one Democrat loses because they ran a poor campaign, that doesn't immediately mean the same holds for every Democrat who loses. But yes, Sanders definitely made some crucial and costly mistakes during his run and many of his supporters will freely admit that, too.

Will they?
I suggest you keep an eye on this thread then. Because it's going to be informative.

RBG lost that seat for being unwilling to step down during the Obama years. Be it arrogance or what have you, she refused to step down because "they won't replace me with someone who will vote like me" was what her reasons for staying amounted to. And as a result Trump got to put a Justice on the court.

It's always progressives' fault for everything. Centrist/moderate Dems and their supporters won't accept any blame at all.

Also, it's worth considering that assuming Sarandon's comments favoring Sanders really hurt Clinton that much, it wouldn't have been terribly difficult to just adopt some of his policy proposals and, what's the magic word for Democrats reaching across the aisle toward Republicans... Oh yeah, compromise. Instead of blaming someone simply for saying a different candidate's positions are better.

Democrats are more willing to work with Republicans than progressives and that's fucking sad

Because Karma and account age denote the seriousness of a post am I right?
Like there' isn't dozens of 4000+ karma accounts who do nothing but shit post and have for decades.
How about reading what someone writes and then judging it accordingly.
If you think it's a shit post then call it that or don't respond.

Her lack of campaigning in the rust belt cost her big time. Her arrogance in thinking the election was in the bag and the electorate weren't stupid enough to vote for Trump shows how out of touch she and many of the political class were in 2015
Sanders displayed a similar type of arrogance when he courted a narrow demographic of Americans who traditionally have the lowest voter turnout in elections. He refused to broaden his platform to attract other voters. Particularly African Americans. His ideological stances turned off moderate voters and he lost twice as a result.
They both got it wrong.
They both only have themselves to blame.
