I'll rent Spiderman movies because I've literally never watched a bad Spiderman movie and people tend to like Homecoming and the others. Iron Man was pretty damn good. The moment is cool to see as a fan, but overall not necessary. As others have said Ross is the only major component of importance that you see later on. Back then we weren't sure the movies were going to be built into this cinematic universe. If you're watching now, you know there are Avengers movies that feature all of these heroes, that's why you're going back to watch. By good I mean in order lol Yeah I believe Incredible Hulk and the 2 Spiderman movies are the only ones not on D+ (and Eternals, since it's still in theaters, but by the time you get through 22+ movies it'll probably be on there anyways). You'll probably get a lot of feedback from other users about which other ones to skip. Popular ones are Iron Man 2, Iron Man 3, Thor 2 (Dark World), and even some character's origin stories. Personally, I'd say take the time to watch them all. My least favorite is probably Thor Dark World, but even that movie has some aspects of it that get revisited later on. Some of the movies you'll like/love less than others, but give them a chance. The whole story is quite an experience, you might as well try to get as much of it as you can. And always check the mid/end credits of movies to make sure you're not missing anything leading to the next movie. And once you get there, check out the D+ shows too.
