There was no reason to do that. The dog wasn't attacking. I've always felt that cops seem to hate dogs. Unless it's their own. They charge you with murdering an officer if you kill a k9 officer.

But meanwhile they murder civilian dogs every day all over the country. I've heard that a day doesn't go by where somewhere in the US a dog is murdered by a cop

I saw the video, and yeah, it was brutal.

But maybe the dog was barking and the cop misunderstood and was provoked by it? I'm not trying to defend the cop, please don't misunderstand, I say that as someone with a fear of dog barking and whose "fight or flight" reaction is triggered by it.

So just to give some context that cop had been to that exact residence earlier in that exact same night because that specific Pitbull that he kicked, and another white Pitbull (which had bitten a young girl months prior), had escaped from the residence and where acting very aggressively to that officer.

That same dumb fuck owner called the cops AGAIN because he believed the reason the dogs got out was because the house was burglarized. So the officer returns to the residence to investigate the burglary and the same aggressive Pittbull that lunged at him earlier is sitting outside on the porch.

Nice try, but how about digging for a little more more information next time?

That second cop should walk right up behind him and without warning take him to the ground and cuff his ass.

Then put him in the back of the squad car without telling him to watch his head.

Yeah no reason to kick the loose Pitbull waiting for him on the porch that lunged at him less than 3 hours ago because he has to return to the same shithead owners residence.

There was an aggressive animal on that porch behaving violently and putting everyone there in danger.

The cop returns to the shitheads residence the second time in mere hours, after coming because his dogs with a history of biting people where on the loose, and the dogs are STILL running around outside.

You dont think maybe the owner should have gotten control of the dogs BEFORE calling the cop back to the house for a completely separate call?

I never said but the owner is stupid as if it was a justification, I merely added the fact that the owner was a moron to my statement because it is pertinent, these arent wild dogs. The cop could have handled it better, and he could have actually handled it worse. But he certainly didnt just see this dog for the first time and decide to go after it like some other posters in this topic seem to think. I also dont know where this the hero dog chased the robbers away narrative is coming from.
