I've played BotW, Diablo 3, and Hades. The Warriors games and Mario Odyssey seem like good choices though.

Which Hyrule Warriors are we talking bc I found the original to be extremely stressful and I can't imagine what you guys see in it
Everyone was always screaming at me like "waaaahhh we're getting overrun here!", "we're about to lose this location, come save us!", and I'm just trying to get the enemies to leave me alone for one goddamn second so I can look at the map and try to figure out where anything is but that thing isn't particularly legible ... Dragon Ball Z Xenoverse 2. Big hub world, interesting story, a bunch of side quests, level up/stat system, and mindless 3D arena fighting.

Xenoverse was $8 on the eshop so I snagged that. Also got the Castlevania GBA collection while I was there, which also fits my purposes. Thanks for the recommendations guys! Will keep the rest in mind for later.
