41 y/o Dusty Jackson, a Michigan woman is left with face burns after a 16 y/o drive thru worker from Tim Hortons threw HOT COFFEE in her FACE and is now suing the chain!

She filed a lawsuit against the canadian chain over the incident back on October 30th as her lawyer said the coffee had been "black" and not cooled down by the addition of creamer and is now "permantnly disfigured"

Very blurry surveillance footage captured the moment the teen girl threw the beverage in her face after they argued about her order

Police camera footage caught up with Jackson after the attack where she and her car were seen dripping with coffee as a criminal investigation is now underway

The teen girl was fired after employees told the boss what had happened

Jackson said the girl refused her request to add TIMBITS, which are small donut holes to her order saying it was "kind of f***ed up" and "stupid" that the worker would not complete the request

Jackson didn't initially order timbits through the call order and had to ask for them to be added once at the window of which the girl refused

That's when Dusty called her a f***ing b**** and the girl then tossed the coffee in her face and suffered minor burns though refused medical treatment

The worker told Jackson it was not her fault that timbits could not be added after she already requested only coffee and dusty says "I understand that, but you also understand this is stupid. You haven't given me my change back, you haven't given me my coffee back. You can't just throw timbits in there?" the girl then slams the windows and Jackson turns to her husband and says "what a f***ing b****" and that is when the girl opened the window and threw it at her

An employee says items can't be added at the window when the restaurant is busy but a different employee says they eventually added timbits to her order after the incident

Another witness said Dusty was NASTY from the start and made several demands and was antagonizing to them from the jump

Ya just looked it up. In Canada you can only sue a employer for what the employee did, if they were allowed and authorized.

The most she can do is sue that 16 year old parents and get her locked up.

Long long time ago i had one that walked up to the front counter that i was working at, pissed that the drive thru fucked their order up. They didnt even give me 2 seconds to try and fix the order before they whipped the sandwich at me, swearing "yall is gone give me a refund and a new sanwich!".

They just straight up threw it at me. So i picked it up and yeeted that fucker as hard as i could right back at that ho and nailed her right in the face. She ran out screaming back to the car and drove off. I thought for sure i was going to be fired, but i end up staying there another 11 years >_>.

Random tidbit: Not sure how other fast food places work, but at McDonald's, it's discouraged to add on items at the window. Orders are displayed on a screen up front, and when they're completed, they're "served" and cleared. When you make an add on, it makes the same order show up again with the additional item(s). It often leads to confusion because A) The kitchen will make the order twice and waste food or B) Someone who made the order will think they must've forgotten to serve it, and serve the update.

tl;dr
Adding on at the window is a dick move, especially if someone tells you that they can't do so. Get off your lazy ass and just add on your shit in another order.

That bitch really tried to add to her order at the pickup window? And was super aggressive about something that presumably is both against store policy and a hugely rude thing to do ruining the stores flow and slowing things up for the whole line.

She absolutely didn't deserved to be badly burned but I really don't feel very sorry for a woman who got hurt after antagonizing and provoking an underpaid teen over something so trivial.

Stop being fucking abusive to low paid workers who have had their stress multiplied several fold since March 2020 or so.

Especially the young ones who have less impulse control and less to lose. It's both cruel and foolish.

Yea and they had time to stop and call the cops with the coffee still on her face. Im not saying it was right the coffee was thrown, but I think her saying permanently disfigured is a lie.

Its pretty hard to sue for disfigurement when you have no medical records saying so. I'm guessing the whole thing is a move she tries to get free timbits. Don't order them, pay for your coffee, then try to add on some timbits, probably figures to save the hassle they will just give her a box of ten to get her out of there.

when has that ever worked? i dont eat fast food very often but i can think of a number of times where i forgot something at the menu board and asked at the window with no damn issue.

this is a story about a psycho working at a fast food store and people are trying to blame the victim? typical CE crap.
