I have no problem with legal and consensual sex work involving workers with personal agency and choice, although I personally would never engage in it. Weird that you brought that up when I criticized illegal prostitution though, but keep it in your topic

Ftr, before someone tries to get pedantic, yes there are certain, particularly historical, contexts where there is a relevant distinction to be made, but trying to uhh, defend the good name of fascism is not one of them

So yeah, on paper they are technically correct. All Nazis are Fascists, not all Fascists are Nazis. That being said, the trajectory of the American right is far closer to that of the Nazis than it is Spanish or Italian standard Fascism.

In what terms? Spanish fascists won a war and established an oppressive government that lasted decades and was taken down by the king pretending to be supporter and then actually reforming to democracy. Italian fascists dragged the Nazis down during the war, surrendered, and ended up having to be occupied by the Nazis. Their incompetence helped the allies win the war, whereas the Spanish assisted by not being in the war at all. However the Italian fascists also inspired Hitler. They're definitely all bad, but I just wanted to make a joke about conservatives, because saying we're not Nazis, we're the other fascists like it's a good thing should be ridiculed.
