During the height of my allergy season when it's at its absolute worst, a week on that almost eliminates my symptoms entirely, far more so than my allergy meds. But the doctor will only let me take it for a week, and only when my symptoms are REALLY bad, since it's apparently very unsafe to be on prednisone for longer than that. Yeah, long-term steroid use is a very bad idea, especially at higher doses. If you ever get bored of having an immune system, though, that's a very easy way to fix that. --- This is my signature. papercup 11/18/21 10:46:30 AM #6:	I had a really bad allergic reaction to some kind of prednisone compound or whatever like 10 years ago, had to be hospitalized.
