yeah, personally I think it would kinda lame but who knows

marvel and everything else has a big boner for everything dimensional and multiverse cause it shuts everyone up about canon details and changes to stories and characters

Andrew Garfield is the best movie Spider-Man.

If they removed him from trailers b/c literally everyone but him is going to be in this movie, then I'm not seeing it.
Hopefully it was removed b/c it spoiled the "surprise". But that makes no sense, everyone's expecting it at this point, already.

Judging by the reaction to the movie posters that went out that turned out to be fake, yeah pretty much

i watched just a few minutes of that movie so I cant fairly judge it

but I dont really appreciate the premise. You dont want to fight in a war but you want to help the people who are doing the killing? Is that really much better? Youre making it easier for war to happen

and then there was an action scene that was just bananas, a dude got killed in a battle and the main character just like grabbed his torso and charged forward holding it like a shield or some shit

Ive never been in any kind of war or armed conflict so idk but that just seemed really dumb and unrealistic, and if Im right about that then that seems just goofy and kinda disrespectful

No Holland is. He's the one that matches the comic the closest.

Yeah, but even Marvel hates that interpretation. Which is why 99% of the time, when you get something outside of the comics, he's in high school.

It's why they magicked away his marriage. Quesada's entirely argument was that being married made him "too old" to relate to. But divorce would make him feel even older and less relatable. And just killing MJ off and making him a widower would be even worse, because that makes him feel old and kills off a popular character.

So obviously the only possible fix was to have him make a deal with the devil to sacrifice his marriage to save the life of his 99-year old aunt who has a heart attack every couple years anyway.

It's the same reason they did the Clone Saga back in the 90s - the original intention was always to have the clone turn out to be the real Peter, so the Peter who married MJ could retire and go off to live his life while we'd get a younger, more dynamic Peter who was able to date again and do young people things. The only reason they walked back on it was because the backlash was so strong.

And, of course, when they did the Ultimate line, it was pretty much built around a younger Spider-Man in high school. At least until they killed him off and replaced him with an even younger black kid.

Personally, I'm half-waiting for them to eventually do a storyline where Peter is magically de-aged to 16 and has to go back to high school. Because that's what they really want.

They should do one where he's something like 22.
