Current Events > Persona 3: I'm on 12/03, and I still have 5 social links to go. Am I screwed?

*6, including the Star arcana who I've got on rank 8.

I need to finish the Emperor and Empress arcana (School Council guy and Mitsuru), and after that I need to start the Yukari and Chidori social links. Then there's Aigis, who's a breeze. Basically, I have 48 ranks left (incl. Star), which means I need 48 days of gametime at a minimum to max all the links.

I know that the game stretches into January, but for how long does it stretch? I think I'm fucked.

Just looked it up and the game ends on January 31st. That means I have 59 days left, of which some of those are going to have unobtainable social ranks (most Sundays, meaning I don't have like 8 days), and if I don't raise each rank perfectly, I could waste days developing relationships. So if I can make Monday through to Saturday count every time, deducting 8 Sundays - bringing my total number of free days down to 51 - I have 3 days where I can spare a social link defaulting.

But that doesn't take into account days where the story stops me from pursuing a social link.

You can't but it's also pretty much impossible to do so unless you're on a new game plus or following a specific day by day guide. Not that that's necessary to beat the game.

There's an exam, meaning that none of the school social links are gonna be around for two weeks. I'm fucked.

I'm gonna do Mitsuru, Chidori and Aigis' social links. Might be able to finish the Student Council one too, leaving Yukari as the odd duck out.

In case I don't make it, who should I concentrate on between Chidori and Mitsuru? I know Chidori comes back in Persona 4, so I'm gravitating towards her.

no longer possible, but you basically need a guide to max all of them on a new game anyway. even with a guide, i think you only have like 2-3 days of leeway

Chidori is the Justice social link, and I heard she has a cameo in 4. Could definitely be wrong about the cameo, but I know for a fact she's a social link.
