Game reminded me more of Muramasa than a typical Mvania.

As a Little Tail Bronx fan, I think it's a cool game, but I don't really like it as much as Tail Concerto or especially Solatorobo. It's a bit of a shame that they committed to self-publishing this game yet cancelled all the other cool little tail bronx games they couldn't get a publisher for in the last decade (like their extremely Nausicaa-like action game codenamed Project Venom, or their ambitious PS3 game inspired by NGE and TTGL, Strelka Stories)

Hoping the other trilogy of vengeance titles eventually release too, they've all been delayed so long i'm still worried about them even after fuga's release. tokyo ogre gate could've been sayonara wild hearts before sayonara wild hearts tbh (but with a dark kill la kill-like theme) and cecile was basically bloodstained with witches

Assuming you are all referring to Dust: An Elysian Tail, I'm seeing nothing on each game's resepective Wikipedia articles to indicate any connection between the two.
