Another house nearby is 130 years old. Weird neighborhood. A lot of new houses were built in the 20th century. It must have been empty around there when they first got that house.

You should see if it has any secret passages. I think homes that old sometimes had secret rooms or tunnels to hide stuff in or escape if something happened

You can tell the timber is old growth.
Also that is was guilt in peices.

I had an issue this summer that involved the cops and my front door being open.
Almost no one understood how a front door handle could stop latching...the thing is a century old.
I am actually surprised my bedroom door handle, most works. Same old-school brass.

When I was looking at houses near me like almost all the old farm houses said built in 1900, but thats only cause the county building burnt down and destroyed all the records at one point. So nobody really knows how old any of the houses are.
My house was built in like the 1970s though.
