Tipping culture is always weird to me. It's not a big thing in England. Still I'd imagine the person would be happy with any tip as you know that's more money.

I didnt tip at all during my first visit to the US, not because I wanted to be rude, but because I didnt know it was such a strict norm compared to every other country I visited where tipping isnt a big deal. One time, some of my colleagues were literally chased through the street for not tipping when the service was horrible apparently. Dining out in the US is unnecessarily expensive due to the tipping.
