Everything definitely easier. You can pretty much John wick through every area lol.

Having a handgun in one hand and knife in the other is OP. Hip firing the rifle is OP.

yup. I think they increased the enemy count in each area to balance the game. It seems like it

Is that what's happening? I played it on Professional last night. Only 1-1. And I definitely did not remember the village having that many enemies. It's my cousins. So Professional was unlocked through him.

yeah the village part seemed like it lasted way longer than the regular game.

and I could be wrong but it seems they increased enemy TTK as well

You're confirming all my suspicions of why I couldn't just come in and dominate a game I beat 10 times already. I'm not new to VR either. I can hip quick fire headshots. So, you're most likely not imagining it either. I welcome those changes now that Im aware. It was kind of frustrating at first, but I orefer it over breezing through it.

It's fundamentally an issue of the original controls. Encounters are designed around you having to stop and aim to shoot; you simply cannot rectify this with VR.

It would of been a lil remedied by at least having professional open from the gate. As a RE 4-6 veteran, I died a few times in the first big area getting use to the VRcontrols and previous stated changes.

But you can't run full speed at all. They would just catch up to you every time and hack you to pieces lol. You'd never have the opportunity to turn around and aim your gun.

What they could of also done, was not take out the hardest part of the game. Mercs. That stops me from caring to buy it immediately myself, even if I get a Quest 2 soon.

Church. Id definitely prefer the campaign in full VR with motion modern controls over a now super outdated motion control with no VR. The thing about (for lack of better word) gimmicks like motion controls is that they objectively get better with technology. There's no nostalgia in using a worse working version of something.

But the exclusion of Mercs makes it impossible for me to claim the VR one is the best version. Mercs is far too important to the 4-6 titles for me. By the 6th one, it was why I was invested in buying it day 1.

The added camera control reminds me of DMC3 on Switch adding style switching. Fun as hell, but completely breaks the game in half. There's almost no point in using the rifle when you have laser sight turned on because then the pistol is Halo 1 levels of busted.

Speaking of, turning the laser sight off improves the VR version way more than I was expecting. It's a little bit harder and you have to focus on your aim more than just lining up your laser pointer with the enemy's head. It's still not the hardest, but it's hella fun.

It shines a lot when you're fighting things like the invisible bugs in the sewer. Your laser pointer won't give their position away and it's a lot more tense to try and follow them visually.

Appreciate it. I'll try this next time. I turn off crosshairs in games when they get too easy sometimes.

You can swing the knife all you want, but it only counts as a damage tick every so often. It was much harder to knife him in VR imo.

Fuck no lol. Wii version only for Seperate Ways and Mercs basically. It's been dethroned for sure now for the main campaign no question.

im talking about VR

VR you can full run and shoot at the same time. So making enemies run more would up the difficulty
