Baten Kaitos is a game with a cool card-based battle system, hand drawn backgrounds and is mostly voice acted (on the Gamecube, wow). It also has a beautifully orchestrated soundtrack that fits the surreal, dreamlike tone of the game. Main story is a bit slow paced due to heavy exposition in the beginning, some of it's villains are hard to take seriously as they look and feel like more grounded One Piece characters, and the fairly easy to pick up, but rather deep real time gameplay has a learning curve, but once you do the game is pretty great. <cite>Number090684 posted [p:959931642] in If you cou...
