The part where he's just stabbing the dude on the kitchen table while the dying wife is looking on at in shock is the most savage shit I have ever seen.

And the part where he gets approached by the mob and he picks up his mask and calmly puts it on and the music kicks in is *chefs kiss*

The part where he opens the car door and it hits the girl carrying the gun just shoots herself.

Yeah people hate that part because it's "stupid"
But stupid people throughout history have accidently shot themselves.

It had some great kills but the tone and lack of horror/suspense were borderline antithetical to everything that made the original so effective.

It was pretty bad. A literal filler movie between the reboot and the actual sequel coming next year

also the tonal shift from this and the reboot gave me a bit of whiplash

It was fun, but the amount of problems it had was just insane

It was a mess honestly

Way too much time spent on flashbacks to '78. And that subplot with the OTHER escaped crazy was trash. How did they think he was Michael? Everyone in this town, especially the former Sheriff who lost his own daughter in '78, should know that it wasn't Michael.

The only reason why Hollywood keep making dumb characters in horror movies is because people like TC eats that shit up.

That was my biggest problem. Even for a horror movie that was hard to look past

That convict was like 5 feet tall. Michael is a giant

I liked it.

They announced the new Halloween movies were going to be a trilogy. We know for a fact that Michael Myers is going to return. It was nice for them to not beat around the bush and just let him win this round.

I hated it for 1 main reason. Which is, how can Michael be stopped realistically at this point? Nothing short of getting blown to bits could do it.

One of the appeals of slasher movies is "how can the killer get put on ice at the end of this?"

With the shit he went through in Kills, I dont see what they can do.

Or the part where the mom stabs Michael with a pitchfork in the shoulder and then doesn't stab him again and just runs away? Or the part when they all beat him down yet for some reason no one goes for his head and the mom against just sorta stabs him in the back and NOT the fucking head?

Then there's thousands of people in a hospital chasing a short little fan bald man saying he's Michael Myers.

Now he's turning US into the monsters.

Fucking deep man. Really makes ya think. I used to love mob mentality, but now I think it might be a bad thing.

Lil John?

Big John?

I did find it genuinely funny at the end when Michael goes all Dynasty Warrior though. That's the part that turned it from atrocious to so bad it's funny.

I found it enjoyable enough. It could have been better, though. Everybody with a gun was useless and fired in Michael Myers general direction, or waited until he grabbed them to shoot, except for the guy at the end who shot him 5-6 times...yet Michael lived. I'd prefer something in between, like in Halloween 2007 when the cop successfully shot Michael Myers, but got him in the shoulder before being stabbed to death.
