Penalties the Bears have absolutely deserved have occurred when Ben vastly underthrows the ball and the defender doesn't bother to turn around. Could happen again!

It is funnier to me than it should be that they went for an impossible 65 yard FG instead of actually trying to win with a hail mary. I mean I know it is like 0.5% chance of working but that's still better than the 0% they had.

i know i know but still, he is an NFL coach, if it wasn't even possible for the kicker to make it he wouldn't have called for it, and the probability doesn't have to be very high to be higher than a hail mary.

Yeah, if they're in Denver or a domed stadium, I get the idea, but I never thought they had a shot at making that FG.

if Emerald really went 2-12 that means i passed him but Leon passed me, so i'm guessing i'm still in 4th (don't feel like checking everybody).

Having watched the Bears try and pass block all year...there was no way they'd have given Fields enough time for a hail mary. Santos hadn't missed in like 40 attempts. Don't care how far away it was I know who I trust more.

Generally, the strategy if you can't block it is to move the pocket, or have an athletic QB like Fields run around to buy some time before heaving one, but given that he's a rookie and they're the Bears, you may have a good case.

His only two wins were Chargers and Chiefs. He picked a bunch of upsets, but missed on all of them, as well as missing every upset that actually happened.

And my year's been so bad that despite gaining 5 games on him I'd guess he's still ahead of me!

The only reason I know is he called attention to having 0 wins through the Sunday early games so I specifically looked up his picks and I'm going off of memory that he had the Bears.

oh when you said this i thought you meant no one got 10 wins this week, since it wouldn't really be that weird for just the person in first place to get under 10 in a week with 4 byes and tons of upsets.

then i glanced through your picks and noticed everything you got right except the Giants.

Yeah, I actually felt good about the Giants because this was just a tough week for the Raiders

(plus I think the Giants are probably the "good bad team" this year because they're better than their record indicates)
