creativeme 11/06/21 8:10:46 PM #2:	I just beat Mario RPG again and finally playing Paper Jam so it got me thinking. I've beat all the other games except the last 3 Paper Mario games. Only played Sticker Star from those and got bored like half way or so. I'm guessing most people would put the last 3 Paper Mario games and Paper Jam in the bottom 4 or so games. I know my top 5 would have Mario RPG, TTYD and PM. Probably SS. not sure for a 5th. been awhile since I played PiT and BiS but probably 1 of those for 5th. <cite>creativeme posted [p:959760826] in How would ... cousinvini 11/06/21 8:19:27 PM #7:	Havent beat Paper Mario 64 yet I would rate M&L like this: Bowser's Inside Story > Superstar Saga > Dream Team > Paper Jam > Partners in Time. Yeah, I know many would rate Paper Jam the last. Yeah, the enemies are just the same old NSMB ones, there are the lazy toads everywhere and koopalings and bowser as bosses. But Partners in Time was underwhelming to me in many ways. Hate how much HP the bosses have, it's annoying how linear the maps became and using 4 buttons for the gameplay was annoying (specially when one of the adult bros die you have to jump with like a + y at the same time, completely opposite buttons). <cite>cousinvini posted [p:959761037] in How would ... I think I'd pick the original Paper Mario as my absolute favorite though. Superstar Saga isn't too far behind, but I'd say there's definitely a bit of a gap between it and Dream Team. Delirious_Beard posted... discounting SMRPG since i still haven't played it would definitely recommend it. it's a good game and cool to see the primitive mechanics that were used in the other games. definitely more of a traditional RPG compared to the later games. you still have an active defend but not straight up dodge. cousinvini posted... I used to be hard TTYD > PM, but after replaying TTYD, that game has a lot of 'dead air' at times, like Vivian's chapter literally just has you walking back and through through the same straight line like 3 times. And the chapter after that I remember being underwhelming too.
