Yeah, I learned this way back when I tried to save Star Wars prequel promotional Pepsi cans. The soda just corrodes the can from the inside and it eventually springs a leak.

This hurts to read. Classic Game Fuel is the GOAT and you can't get it anymore. After Halo 3 they re-released it with World of Warcraft and Halo 4 and it was still great.
However, Pepsi fucked up the formula around 2016 when they introduced a horrible artificial sweetener. Then rather than fixing it the next year when they knew they fucked up, they scrapped Game Fuel as a flavor altogether and re-used the brand name for an unrelated line of energy drinks which were not successful. I had one bottle from 2014 of the classic stuff stored in my mini fridge in my game room. It sounds weird as fuck but Id occasionally open it and smell it because the smell triggered strong 2007 nostalgia, it was like a damn drug lol Then Thanksgiving 2017 came along and my sister in law fucking drank it She got sick from it at least They still sell those energy drink ones.
