Usually when going through Chemo you aren't supposed to get a Vax shot because your system isn't strong enough to take it. There's a higher risk of it hurting the person more than it helping them.

She must have just started treatments.

You could theoretically make an argument that they shouldn't have live attenuated vaccines, but that's it.

I believe that there are many people that have somehow been indoctrinated/brainwashed by the far right/Qanon that otherwise would have been relatively normal. The pandemic/Trump combo was the perfect storm for bringing out the most crazy aspects of people.

To put things into perspective, there was a week in which I had three patients in their 30s and one patient in his 80s with covid-19. The guy in his 80s had leukemia and was on chemotherapy, but was vaccinated. Never required oxygen. The 30-year-olds all did poorly, and were unvaccinated. There's a perspective for you.
