This game wasn't even on my radar until this very week and I decided to run with it because it's pretty good from all angles.

Like the Ravens, the Steelers are useless after week 10. The plan shifted quickly from there.

i didn't really see the Ravens as a team i had to use this season, because they never had a great time to use them. Steelers play the Lions at home next week so that was way too good to pass up on. here was my plan the rest of the season:

Steelers vs Lions
Titans vs Texans
who knows for the awful week 12, any favorite is in consideration and doesn't impact other weeks
Rams vs Jags
Broncos vs Lions
Cardinals @ Lions
Saints vs Dolphins or Chargers @ Texans
49ers vs Texans or Seahawks vs Lions
Packers @ Lions

One week that's getting worse and worse is week 15. The one week I played it safe I burned Arizona, now all my other picks there are souring and in one of my leagues I'll need two of them. I'm starting to be afraid of picking ONE of them.

(One of my leagues requires suicide picking 23 teams in a single season. The Ravens are too good of a team not to use!)

And we have to see if Pittsburgh doesn't choke this anyway~

well you still have the Bills and Cowboys for week 15 for the leagues where you have to pick two, but then that kinda forces Bucs and Packers into week 18, and then that forces a suboptimal pick for either week 11 or 14 (whichever one you don't use the Titans)

A divisional road team that's going against a team that randomly shows up and beats teams it has no business beating.

I'm seriously considering the Jaguars as my pick #2.

Ultimately though I'm still stuck with one highly suboptimal pick in that league and it's a matter of picking which one to go with and where.

I seriously do not trust the Saints week 14 and I need two for that week.

As far as single picking goes I'm still pretty alright, though going into the last week of the season clinging onto only 1 team is a dangerous prospect considering that team may have nothing to play for.

Week 14 Tennessee (Second pick: Seahawks)

Week 15 Bills (Second pick: .... Jaguars?!?!!)

Week 16 Chargers (Second pick: Vegas)

Week 17 Patriots (Second pick: 49ers)

Week 18 Packers (Second pick: ????)

This is where I was in that league at the start of this week.

It's close, but I never got around to actually closing the circuit.

And that's with using the Jaguars!

Also Dallas is usable somewhere in there but none of those teams can actually move to week 18. I don't know why I never slotted them anywhere. but I kind of rushed it.

The Steelers weren't even on my shortlist of 4 teams I had 2 weeks ago for week 9.

oh you need two week 14 too? that makes things really tough. if you're against Cowboys week 15, you could use them week 16 maybe. i also like Saints week 16, and i guess Dolphins are always an option week 15. i think the best path toward week 18 is 49ers week 11 and Bucs week 18 but that's a huge risk you wouldn't want to take on this board 8 league.

...of course it could all be moot now lol

And I have considered the 49ers week 11, but I'd never do it in singles, yes.

I could also avoid the Rams week 13 and use them week 18 but it's not great.

The Eagles have never lost to the Jets in franchise history and the games have never been close. The Raiders are also usable, and could be replaced by Dallas on my board on week 16.

you can move any other pick around but not the Rams. that one should be set in stone. even Vegas week 18 is better i think.

Never a doubt.

Just like last year, I've had some games look ugly in my favor early (Like when Minnesota gave up 11 points in like 45 seconds to the Lions very late in the game to trail by 1) and turn way too close late for my liking. The Steelers had never lost a game like this in 216 tries and boy they tried to not make it 217.

Then week 15 was just a straight out blowout last year oops.
