I overall agree and I don't have any issues with the rest of the voice cast but I'm just not overly convinced about Pratt as Mario. Pratt's strength is when he plays a loveable doofus. When he doesn't play that role he tends to be a bit boring. Mario is a highly energetic go-getter. Garfield is sarcastic, lazy and bored. In a way they're polar opposites character wise so we'll see how Pratt handles both. He might be alright as Garfield. To be fair I don't know what the movie is aiming for with Mario either and I'm interested to see what the trailer does. Pratt's strength is when he plays a loveable doofus. When he doesn't play that role he tends to be a bit boring. Mario is a highly energetic go-getter. Garfield is sarcastic, lazy and bored. In a way they're polar opposites character wise so we'll see how Pratt handles both. He might be alright as Garfield.
