That section of it, at least, isn't making any points, it's just some dude mad that not all the Eternals are white or abled or whatever. Also it's well-known that MCU flicks are very carefully curated by the producers and suits, so going hard at Chloe Zhao seems like the wrong tack to take here. Plus, the concept is a lot to swallow, particularly when paired with what just happened in the MCU's story. Most actual reviewers aren't those type of people, however, and I'd say they're probably focusing more on the actual merits of the movie. Personally I'm excited to see it. Eternals was always an odd premise to make a movie about, dunno why Kevin Feige pushed for it so hard tbh as I said in another topic: The movie just sucks and the heroes look like the cast of the Magic School Bus. The Eternals were always lame in comics and too weak to carry a story, they're literally plot devices for various X-Men and Fantastuc Four stories. The space weirdos team that should be getting films is the Inhumans or the Starjammers. --- It's not the end of the world, but we can see it from here. <cite>Fony posted [p:959594225] in People are... Never thought I would say this, but after watching Snydercut JL, then going back and watching the extended BvS, I'm actually pretty hype for upcoming Flash movie. The Batman, Sandman, Black Atom all look interesting too. DC is on the rise. Marvel... meh at this point. Does it always need to "add value"? They were created by Jack Kirby as a super team that they could use to introduce a "galactic" element when necessary. I haven't seen the movie but IIRC from the comics for an Eternals story to work, you needed someone like Thor, Silver Surfer, The Fantastic Four, or The Avengers involved.
