Some of the twists leading up to the ending leave a sour taste in my mouth and result in a poor ending to a fantastic series. But everything leading up to the ending is pretty compelling to me and I enjoyed the journey at least!

The bad presentation hurts it some, and then the ending is extra bad. Some of the story stuff is great though. I would score the game as a whole rather worse.

I feel like this gets too bad a rap because of the presentation.

Some of the Team D twists are still the only time in the series to date that I actually stood up and started pacing out of excitement.

It's undoubtedly a bit of a mess, but some of the peaks of storytelling in the series (and maybe even gaming as a whole) show up here, and I am very glad indeed that it exists

But somehow I am still happy to see those somewhat high scores...and I agree with them

Up until the Delta twist, I enjoyed it very much
I remember liking the Team D ending a lot and felt it was very emotional
The story is hit by the ending and not answering some VLR stuff, but it was still enjoyable until a certain point

Tough to rate this one because the storyline is probably the biggest letdown for me outside of MGS4.

That said, as a video game story (rather than as a Zero Escape story), ZTD is decent and has its moments.
