Reminds me of when I was 16 and homeless lol. I lived on top of movie theaters, schools (in the summer), apartment complexes, and out in a wild life preserve. Every day was an adventure lol.

It has never occurred to me that people could just discreetly be living on top of places Didn't occur to anyone it seems, at least 30+ years ago. I was the only person living up there lol. Never used a homeless shelter etc, the roofs were totally free. I was really good at climbing though, so not everyone could get up there easily like I could. This was in the Bay Area CA though, so it never got cold, even at night. A sleeping bag was all you needed. If it rained, I would use the movie theaters because they had these huge air ducts that you could sleep under and avoid the rain. There are also a ton of apartment complexes with restrooms/pools (gated but you could hop the gate in a split second) so you had a restroom all night and could swim in the pool to keep clean etc. Lived like that for a year till I turned 17 and decided to do something with my life and joined the Air Force. Was an easy life, no stress, no responsibility, but I didn't socialize much and felt like I was just wasting my life. --- Tacobot 3000 "Saving the world from not having tacos."
