Actually I just realised. When I was trick or treating in the UK, it was generally expected that you had some kind of joke, or song, or dance, or some little thing you could do on command to earn your sweets. Is that a thing in America at all? I had a great song I wrote about the grim reaper that I sang for years.

Ive never heard of that being a thing in the UK
