This will be played on real hardware. I have a very large but not infinite library. Assume I have every game of note.

Available consoles: PS1-5, SNES, N64, Cube, Wii, Switch, Saturn or Dreamcast

Target: something I can beat in 4-8 hours. Preference toward platformers, RPGs, action/adventure titles. No interest in racing, shmups, etc.

I actually was thinking of a Sonic but I beat Sonic 1-3 and SA1 and 2 with my nephew earlier this year.

My son likes watching the new Ratchet so we only play that together. I have RE8 and Forgotten City. Been thinking of a return to Assassin's Creed 2 but it's too long. Also was thinking about the Wii Silent Hill game.

Not exactly what youre asking for but I havent gotten into a game in years the way Ive been into Akane since buying it recently.

Description: 2121 A.D, with no escape options, Akane prepares for her final battle in the rain-soaked neon streets of Mega-Tokyo. Akane is an arena arcade slasher. Take out as many yakuza as possible, slashing and shooting in a one-hit-one-kill fight to the death.

Its $5 but I got it on Switch for $2 a week or so ago, not sure if the sale is still going on. (Its also on Steam and Im guessing the other consoles.)
