Well Dark Souls 2 is better, but that's a controversial opinion. If you just want some good bosses though, Dark Souls 3 will satisfy more.

Scholar of the First Sin or whatever is my favorite and the most beginner friendly imo due to npc summons. But 3 is better than vanilla 2

2 was a step in the right direction in almost every way. Its not a game you can quite live in like Lordran, but you cant skip DaS2

Unfortunately, no. I've spent, no... I'm wrong, I've wasted 260ish hours trying out different builds forcing the possibility of me liking it to no avail.

Okay. So lets stop killing the fandom. Defeats the purpose? DaS2 lore (and or the lack thereof in some respects) is important as are the gameplay philosophies. I cant think of a better game to have played at some point during the hiatus. Meanwhile, FromSoftware seems pretty intent on continuing to sell you more DaS2 while you smile.

FromSoftwares catalogue is the one thing on planet earth that can save the cgi for the sake of cgi culture. Because they bridge the gap. Pretty sure everyone else disbanded.

Its intolerable in VR. Its gonna die. You dont see claymation or models anymore, right? Used to be the go-to.
