This is the most insane take Ive ever heard. Weve literally had billions of little boys grow up who were neither encouraged nor allowed to wear womens clothing, and the vast majority of them grew up with zero desire to do so.

You got your reason. Not to mention it really isnt about the majority, its about what the kid wants. Let him wear what he wants. Id like to know the worst that could happen.

Yet you think that because society has suddenly shifted toward being okay with it, boys are suddenly going to start dressing like girls when told they cant? Newsflash bro, the vast vast majority of boys dont want to wear dresses. In fact Ive yet to see even one in the wild.

My kid will be fine.

1. How do you know that? How can anyone just speak up and say they want to wear a dress when theres gonna be people wholl shame them for it?
2. Much less actually wear the dresses.
3. Saying youve never seen a guy wearing a dress is a bit short sighted. I saw a person I thought was a female wearing a dress. Few days later I figured out they were male. Its not as easy to judge gender based on appearance these days.

There's just so much for everyone to complain about here, it's pretty impressive for that fact alone...

1. The kid lets a stranger in the house.
2. The kid drives off with the stranger.
3. The stranger asks the kid if he wants to take his clothes off.
4. Witchcraft - Conservatives hate this.
5. Boy in a dress - Conservatives hate this.
6. Bully gets probably murdered, or at least a soft form of violence.
7. I'm pretty sure not a single Twix bar was shown.
8. Oh yeah, it kind of draws a straight line between witchcraft/satanism and trans kids. So that ain't good.

It's like something to piss off every single person on the planet. "Are you a person? Well this commercial has something for you to hate no matter who you are!"

I dont like to keep using my experiences for my posts but

I have hair.
Nobody cares for my hair.
My dad doesnt like my hair.
You look like a bum. Do you want to get bullied? When speaking about my hair, despite me telling him many times nobody cares.
Doesnt listen. I get my hair cut and get bullied for it for months.
I grow out my hair. Nobody cares for it. My dad thinks I look like a bum. And the cycle repeats.

My point? Not letting your child be themselves to avoid bullies can be good, but it itself isnt always good. Especially when you arent giving them ANY right to oppose you nor even digging deeper into the whole mindset and scenario to see whats actually right.

In his mind sure. "Hero" here is just a descriptor for what he's attempting to emulate. In his point of view, that other kid and the goth chic probably seem like agents of ChAos. Given time, he may have grown into a more understanding person in adulthood, if he preserved the desire to be a true hero. Perhaps even a fine and upstanding enforcer of the law.

Now he'll just grow up to be a SPLAT ON THE GROUND.
