I thought it was fantastic, so I really don't know why it didn't get a second season. I'm assuming it basically came down to the physical effects costing too much and the studio being unwilling to compromise on their vision and switched more cg. --- "History Is Much Like An Endless Waltz. The show is almost refreshing in the way the characters realize that the right thing to do is to fuck the political hierarchy, become anarchist partisans and do guerilla warfare, because the skeksis themselves don't give a shit about politics beyond their own privilege to do whatever they want, and they invented the political divisions of the main characters in order to suit themselves.
