In terms of intelligent, mature storytelling, it...might actually be the best ever? The awful (and sometimes racist) voicing acting can hold it back, though, and it lacks in emotional punches.

Yes, PC for Deus Ex is the definitive version. There are also a couple of mods to update the textures, UI, etc. to HD.

Deus Ex is not winning by enough.

It's been a long time since I last played it but I remember it being so ahead of its time with its dialogue and storytelling. One of the best conspiracy stories told for sure.

Also want to throw out that the Steam version regularly goes on sale for 97 cents. Hold out till Black Friday if you can.

Anyway, Deus Ex gets a 7.5. It was really revolutionary but the acting and some of the writing doe hold it back heavily.
