It's not worth $60, it's like L4D and L4D2 but a few steps backwards.

Achievements/trophies are locked behind multiplayer campaign, you don't earn supply points in solo campaign.

Gameplay can be buggy at times, the AI bots are a fucking joke too. The ones in L4D and L4D2 were better,yes the one in this game will heal you and drop ammo but that's about it.

Tried the beta, would not recommend. Levels look bland and don't *feel* the same as in L4D. They're much narrower for the most part and when they do open up they just lack any sort of distinguishing or defining features.

Enemies mostly felt the same. The unique enemies just felt like stretched our or scrunched up modified versions of the regular enemies...

There's no versus mode and the developers confirmed they aren't going to be adding it.

trying to capture that l4d magic I guess idk.

There's some irony to the game. The shooting actually felt pretty good... Except the way everything moves entirely negates whatever positive aspects to shooting there are.

My main gripe with it so far is that special zombies are spawned way too often. I never played L4D so I don't know how that was, but it seems like every 10 seconds there's 2 or 3 right on top of us

Worth the money but you have to: pay for other games too instead of living in the F2P life model. Wait for the games all year long. Wait for the downloads. Use this crap steam; vapor ware. And much more.

It's $1 on gamepass, so it's worth trying there if you have friends to play with. Not worth $60, and definitely not worth it if you'd only play solo/ with randoms.

Anyway why dont you think it's as good as L4D's versus?

it's more of a deathmatch style mode and the special infected aren't as fun to play.

Please explain what is "dumb" and "watered down". The old versus was either gaming the system for idiotic one-hit kills or 4 guys turning into 8-armed Mecha-Sheva to embarass any regular conflict.

The real difference between the versus modes is that its a whole lot more obvious when you're outmatched skillwise in B4B, and people dont like that.
