VR is fun, it's good exercise, but damn if it isn't dangerous lol.

Not the first time I have fallen over stuff in VR, but on the flip side, I still won the match lol.

Fell into my groceries that I had brought home, got back up and continued to play.

Dude was waaaay better then me (was only my second game of Eleven Table tennis on the Occulus quest 2). I didn't really understand the controls yet (especially serving).

First game he won by like 6 points as I couldn't figure out how to serve (kept saying I wasn't throwing it high enough etc). I did good at returning his serves but couldn't get points on my own.

Second game was close but I figured out how to serve most of the time, and ended up winning by 2 points (falling once and losing a point because of it).

Third game ended up 10/10 (you gotta win by two) and I luckily pulled off 2 points in a row and won the match. I'm currently undefeated though I'm sure that won't last long lol.

Feels good to pull off a win from being a serious underdog initially (he really was way better but I play defensive and once I figured out the controls I was able to use strategy to win).

Fun game though!! Got it for me and my uncle so we could play together, but he spilled soda on his controller and it wasn't working early. Decided to just try and play myself a bit and see what it is like.

I used to be damned good at table tennis in college. I took Judo for 1 semester but Table tennis the rest and won the college tournament. The reward was getting to play with the US table tennis players (all from Hawaii at the time). The totally schooled me (wasn't even close, think I got 1 point lol).

Those skills while extremely rusty...do not look like they are going to translate at all to virtual table tennis.

Still good work out though so, fun and worth it.
