One on one is fun too but sometimes I want to only play 3+ player fights. It's smash after all.

I know you can change the rules but it forces you to pick a time limit and I feel that makes the rules so specific that nobody joins because nobody is looking for the same exact criteria as you.

In quickplay, no. So that's why you play in lobbies with the people in the CE Smash Thread ;)

Unfortunately, no. Not without changing your own preferences to makes it more likely for you to match with people who also have those kinds of matches as their preference, but it's still not guaranteed. You may be better off just starting a lobby.

And that's not getting into how shoddy the Switch online is even in 1v1's, let alone 4-player matches.

I like to make my own rooms where I set the rules to whatever I like. People will join, especially if your rules are fun.

I rarely play Smash, but I will occasionally get on when I see one of those threads. I always get my ass kicked because most of yall play pretty well, and I don't get much practice. Lol

I really am tempted to join in when I see the topics, but I know that with the way my house's Internet is at the moment, it'd be a rather dreadful experience for all. And unfortunately, where my Switch is in relation to the access point, I can't run an ethernet cord for a wired connection.
