Parker in their final years after they both became the Homecoming "King and Queen" after winning the student's votes for its first "Homecoming Royalty" They were crowned tiaras at Saturday's football game where the WVU Mountaineers played Texas Tech Red Raiders The school spoke to GMA on how the students' initiative led them to create a more inclusive homecoming court as students approached their office about making it more inclusive in nature by removing the gender requirement and said this year they took it a step further and got rid of the king and queen name and named it the homecoming royalty court. It was ultimately down to 5 women and 2 men vying for the royalty and both these women came out on top Hossain, a biomedical engineering student minoring in history and an inclusion coordinator of the Student Government Association and Parker, an Exercise Physiology major and president of Chi Omega Sorority won out the votes Parker said "I definitely feel honoured to be making this step with WVU to a more inclusive future for all students. I am so excited to look back in 20 years and represent the beginning of a new tradition that appreciates and includes all people of colour, size and gender. This is a dream come true for us and definitely made my final year here a memory to remember forever" Are they Hot?
