The whole transgender section of the special was incredibly hit or miss but I think he closed it out well at least.

Dave Chappelle was openly offending women, Jews, Trump loving whites and preachers and people go out there way to draw out his "hatred" for Trans community when The discussion was to begin a truce and extend an olive branch to the community.

Like he essentially came off trying to have a discussion and broker a peace. Yet people, are mad because God forbid, he be clever and call out some issues with the Trans perspective of certain things.

It's true though, at least in the setting of a comedy act. I'm sure the white people are laughing at the white jokes, the gay people laughing at the gay jokes, etc. If trans people want to be treated as though they're a normal group, they're gonna have to realize that a joke can just be a joke.
