I've got a valve index and I recently gave my brother my old quest (1). I really don't want to get a quest 2 as I don't think it's going to be anywhere near as comfy as my index (or as balanced, weight wise), plus the graphics are like a 2 generation downgrade. Furthermore the data transfer rate for the Quest 2 is terrible compared to the cables that came with the Index.

Revive, which is an emulation hack for the Oculus store which allows non Oculus headsets to buy and run Oculus Rift and S titles, but it isn't compatible with the Quest store (at least, for the moment)

Think we'll see this game come to steam or will it be like RE7 VR and just stay on the Playstation Network? Sadly, my guess is that it might make it's way to the PS5 via the network rather than make it way to Steam, but we'll see. Timed exclusive or do you think Zuckerberg threw down the big bucks to make it a full exclusive for the headset?

I know most people will just have a Quest 2 and will have no issues playing RE4 this month, but is there anyone else on CE with a different headset in the same boat as I am on this? What are our options at this point? Sit and wait? Start a petition to get it on steam?

Apparently some "leaker" revealed that language that aged poorly and other scenes have been re-jigged or cut completely to accommodate people getting mad at players using the camera to look at Ashley's panties. I heard 30% of the ending was completely cut, leaving out the flirting between Ashley and that spanish dude as well as Leon and the chick he helps save. (Facebook just trying to get the game into China probs)

They cut out the line about the president equipping his daughter with ballistics, so I'm not sure why you'd want to play it at all now
