| Topic | Apparently Resident Evil 4 won't play on any other VR headset than Quest 2 |

I really don't want to get a quest 2 as I don't think it's going to be anywhere near as comfy as my index (or as balanced, weight wise), plus the graphics are like a 2 generation downgrade. Furthermore the data transfer rate for the Quest 2 is terrible compared to the cables that came with the Index. Revive, which is an emulation hack for the Oculus store which allows non Oculus headsets to buy and run Oculus Rift and S titles, but it isn't compatible with the Quest store (at least, for the moment) Think we'll see this game come to steam or will it be like RE7 VR and just stay on the Playstation Network? Sadly, my guess is that it might make it's way to the PS5 via the network rather than make it way to Steam, but we'll see. Timed exclusive or do you think Zuckerberg threw down the big bucks to make it a full exclusive for the headset? --- Y helo thar buttsecks ... Copied to Clipboard! |
