Yes there were. We had a bunch of topics about it on this board where there were videos of PSA protests of parents demanding they don't teach CRT in public school. You're even quoting one of the teachers' lines to dismiss critics, "you guys don't even know what CRT means!". And mind you, since both you and Iphone are both misunderstanding, I'm saying there were talks, plans of integrating CRT into the curriculum. Not that they succeeded in doing so. But it was a hot topic a couple months ago.

Yeah and every October police departments and local news stations put out stories warning parents that people are going to hide very expensive drugs in their childrens Halloween Candy. People claiming something is happening doesnt mean its happening.

I work in the exact type of place that anti-academics hate (expensive, private, liberal arts university).

CRT has never once come up in any meeting, memo, or guidance. We have never been told to grade differently with different demographics. I have no idea who any of my fellow professors vote for, nor do I or anyone I know discuss politics in any courses that aren't Political Science.

The vast, Vast, VAST majority of stories that are told by the anti-intellectual crowd are over-inflated (both in terms of frequency and scope)

This is an urban legend, fyi.

It really all depends on the professor when I went to college, they don't give you leniency as much as give you more time for a final paper or rescheduled to take a final exam.
